“My entire experience with Dr. Chiu’s office was fantastic. I called at the beginning of November, trying to get a Saturday appointment and the receptionist Jessica told me they had no more Saturdays for the rest of the year (boo) but she would keep me on a waiting list and I could either call her to check for cancellations or she’d call me. I was thinking of looking elsewhere to get an appointment faster, but due to the great reviews on Yelp, I decided to I made an appointment for an early morning Thursday at the end of November, and was planning on just calling to check for cancellations. Two days later, she gives me a call saying she had a cancellation for the second Saturday of November. Seriously, great customer service.
Jessica sends me the registration paperwork so I didn’t have to go to my first appointment early to fill them out. And when I get to my appointment, I was greeted by one of the dental hygienist, Betty, who ended up cleaning my teeth. She was so nice and explained EVERYTHING to me in detail. She was super friendly and informative and very outgoing. It made my whole experience at Mission Palm Dental super comfortable.
After the teeth cleaning, Dr. Chiu comes and explains what he plans for us to do regarding my teeth and was super nice too. The only very small thing I would knock off points was the time he spent during my dentist appointment (could have been longer from my experiences with other dentists, but understandable!)
I highly recommend Dr. Chiu. You’ll definitely get GREAT service here and I definitely don’t feel dread and intimidation I usually feel when I know my dentist appointment is coming up. I love that they have Saturday appointments, but they fill up FAST so be sure to make your appointments early!”

“My whole family have been patients of Dr. Jeff Ching for several years now. He’s always done semi-annual cleanings and one filling a couple years ago. Never a big deal until I cracked an old filling and developed some pain and sensitivity. The problem is I live over 300 miles away in Los Angeles and I go to Dr. Ching because he is absolutely painless. My children trust only him as well. We travel to San Jose frequently to see family and friends. Anyway, he fixed my tooth, put on a temporary crown, meticulously ground it down to match my bite so it would feel like my old tooth and all done in less than a morning. I was out of there in time to catch my early afternoon flight home. You may think I’m crazy to travel such a distance to see Dr. Ching but we’ve known him for years. He has a very calming, soothing demeanor, he’s personable, and most importantly painless and gentle. Also important is his attention to detail. He’s very exacting about how things are done. Never seems to cut corners. I’m looking forward to going back next month to get my permanent crown installed. For now my pain is gone and the temporary crown is fantastic! His staff is great as well, all excellent at what they do and very friendly. The office is very modern, clean, and spotless like a dental office should be. Easy access to the freeway and ample parking.”
